  1. What does K2A stands for? – KasimanwaKo Association has 2K’s; Kasimanwa and Ko and A which stands for Association hence K2A

  2. How can I be a member? – Just fill up the online form, submit it to the administrator and wait for the membership confirmation as you will be notified in writing. All applications for membership shall be screened and decided upon by the K2A Executive Board.

  3. What do I get if I become a member? – You will have the opportunity to help the less privileged Kasimanwas.  You will also be given a certificate of membership and identification card plus you will have the chance to participate in upcoming charity projects as well as fund raising initiatives of the Association.

  4. How can we ask for help from K2A? Just send us an email with your requested project/program. You should include your name and contact details as well as the beneficiary of the requested project and don’t forget the requirements as detailed in the “Projects” page.

  5. How soon do we receive your response with regard to the project request? Please give K2A at least 3 weeks as all requests for project grant are screened and needs to be discussed by the Executive Board before confirmation is given.  

  6. How do we know that our request for project has been approved? You will be notified by K2A through the contact details that you have provided.

  7. Where do you get you funds? K2A does not impose dues to its members. Funds are taken from voluntary contributions and various fund raising activities initiated by the association.

  8. Can I request for a financial statement? – Sure, just send us a request through email with your complete name and contact numbers.

  9. If I would like to donate, where do I send my help? – Since we do not have a bank account yet, please feel free to contact us through the details provided at the CONTACT US page.

KasimanwaKo shall provide educational assistance to the less fortunate and deserving school children of Sibuyan Island.

VISION

KasimanwaKo envisions itself taking a significant role in making education available to those who could not afford it, while at the same time improving the quality of education provided to school children of Sibuyan Island especially those from the poor families.
